This is one of the reason I am skeptical of the UBI. Universal basic income. They are using AI damage to jobs as an excuse for UBI but reality is that if handouts like that are given then people would not work, they would go in depression and life would be pain for them to live. You need a purpose and also need a direction. Which a lot of people won't get if they are dependent on the parents and the UBI.
