Good things don't come to those who wait, good things come to those who do the work to get it.

My experience says even if you work hard and chase it, there is no assurance you will have it. And if you do have it then there is no assurance that you are going to be happy after you get it.

Life is that funny. Patience is good but so does perception of what is good or bad for us. But unfortunately until we reach 40 that is harder to get. Often we get something that is not good for us but we chase our lifetime behind it then trying to protect it.
