I have worked with many non profit. And I know the money never reaches to the bottom. So on that point I am always highly skeptical about the funding of any form. I know many people in non-profit world able to afford apple laptop and iphones meanwhile working on day job I barely able to afford Dell laptop. So yeah you can smell the corruption in any crowdfund and non profit funding.
