Google Workspace which used to be a Google Suite in past, was one of the one stop solution for hosting your domain emails and tools around your brand. I remember when I first signed up when this service arrived. I guess it was more than a decade now for the whole setup.

I decided to migrate away from the Google workspace. I know it is going to be a hard move considering for a decade I used them and used most of their tools. But now that I have team members who use the service and the cost per user on the workspace is a bit high.
So I decided to move to Zoho. The reason was per member price for various services under Zoho have low cost. And if collectively considered the cost of entire suite under Zoho would be lot lower than the Google Workspace.
It has same tools like Google Workspace. It has some tools which are so focused that getting work done using the Zoho won't be much hard. And all the skills that you learned on the Google Workspace would be transferable to the Zoho ecosystem too. If you have a team with skills on Google Workspace then switching to the Zoho won't be hard.
Another point is the small business tools. For example, you have tools like invoice, book keeping, inventory and catalog. Apart from those tools you may find some of the team communication tools too. Which kind of makes it easier for you to use this in a workspace mode on Zoho.
I realized that I can convert my crypto to FIAT and then pay the yearly fee for the Zoho for entire year. I have like 7 user accounts including myself for the team account. So this won't be much expensive compared to the Google workspace.
Good question. Google workspace can do everything you want. And it's rare to switch outside the Google ecosystem. You may find that Microsoft has similar service yet it's offer is not as beneficial as Google and Zoho.
The reason Zoho switch makes sense is that zoho has set of the tools that gets the work done. Office 365 has similar features has limited set of the tools. Zoho on the other hand is literally matching up with feature set. This makes using the service lot easier.
Moving away from the Google services is a need these days. I have decided to move away from the Google analytics and may join the Fathom or similar service if possible Matomo. Google has a lot of us under their tentacles and it's time to go for freedom from such corporations.
