In the last post, I covered the formula section of the Excel. So basically we have seen how to execute the formulas in excel and how to save them. Also how to see the results in the cell where we execute it.
Now for this post, we are going to take a look at the excel function. So here the function in question is - DAVERAGE function. Something which is pretty good for the result of the average calculation.
When it comes to finding the average of the list of the values, you have DAVERAGE function in excel. This is pretty handy function for calculating various types of the data. You may definitely find some good value out of this when used in the right places.
You can easily use the AVERAGE for the simple average finding solution of the values in the workbook. But why would we be making use of the DAVERAGE function there. So we will see how to use it and when to use it.
In order to use the DAVERAGE function you can make use of the below format.
=DAVERAGE(database,field,criteria)
Now you use it when you want to calculate the average of the values in within that column and for that particular range. It gives you the right set of the values for the output in return. So it can make things easier as well.
