In this post, we take a look at How to Create Charts and Graphs in SPSS. Previously we looked at How to import CSV in SPSS. Now in this tutorial we take a look at the chart builder in SPSS. And we are going to take a look at how to make use of the variety of the charts like line chart, bar chat and the histogram.
Now for this tutorial we are going to take a look at the Chart Builder. This would show you how the charts work. And using the chart builder option you can design some really good results too. Let's try this in a simple tutorial.
Check the below video if you prefer the visual instructions for the creating Charts and Graphs in SPSS.
First thing to do here is make sure to sign up on IBM and then make sure to download the SPSS. It would have around 45 days of the SPSS software trial. And once you open the software and the IBM ID is used you would be starting the trial. And this is where the tutorial should begin. If you are following any instruction below then get atleast upto the part below and that should work out.
Your chart should appear now in the main window. And you would be able to explore the chart designed by the chart builder. This was done for the simple chart but you can extend this to the difficult charts and things would be lot easier too. You just have to find out what may or may not work in the right sense as well.
That's it. Now you are good to explore on your own. I have not covered much of the SPSS tutorials. As I am working on finding some of the good things out of the same myself. And the way things are working out right now, I'd say that you should just keep tab on my tutorials in the playlist of the data science. You would learn a lot. You can check the video above and also find the subscribe button there.
I'll see you later in next week and hopefully you would find the value in the tutorial. :)
