In this post, we look at How to Use GROWTH Function in Google Sheets. Previously I covered the TEXT function in Google Sheets. It has the functions to turn variety of the values in the date and the time into the text. Which is often a handful when you want to make use of the text function for most of such function. So today we are going to cover the growth funciton.
When you want to predict the exponential growth in the data that in the case would be making you easier for the growth function usage. This may not be easier for you in most of the simple usage there. I suppose this is something a lot of people don't consider these days as they want to use the web data and want to output with the growth function there with the google sheets.
There are times when you want to find out the exponential data for the growth out of all such data and in such case it would be reasonable to make use of the GROWTH function. I can tell you from the experience with using this function in variety of scnearios that there are times when the predictable values do matter and you can use the growth function with the google spreadsheet.
Let's take a look at one of the tutorial where you can learn how to use GROWTH Function in Google Sheets.
Let's start by adding some sample datasheet in the google spreadsheet.
Here we assume that you have some sample data to be used in the sheet. Which makes it easy for the A1:A5 and the B1:B5 columns. Which would make it easier for you to choose the data to use this formula on.
So here's the example that you'd be seeing,but before that check the formula first.
=GROWTH(known_data_y, [known_data_x], [new_data_x], [c])
Now let's say you have to use this on the a1:a5 and y1:y5 and here c is basically the x related value that you wish to predict. In that case you can try it on and also get it added to the formula and through the column usage you would be able predict and use.
=GROWTH(A1:A5, B1:B5, C1)
Now check your results and find out how the growth function has helped you. It'd be pretty cool for you to try out the variety of the data specific point. More you have diverse data the more you arae going to learn about the same. And it would give you an idea on how to handle the growth specific output there. I would say that such function and the usage would be pretty cool to work with as well.
