I got the option to login to the BARD today. And it seems like google has started giving out access to it's AI. Most of the people may find such services under paid offering in near future. But google being google is going to offer the free service initially before it can charge you.
Here I got an access to the BARD and also the thing is that this would be helping me collect the answer to my questions from the portal. They have variety of features which would be in use and things would be lot easier for them to collect my data.
So how does the BARD works?
As you can see like most of the chatGPT apps and the prompt sides, you have that option here too. So you have to basically type out the questions. And make it sound like you are giving it enough data and also it would be taking it's time to scrape the content off the web.
So they have millions of pages already indexed and they want to show you same data scraped off those pages and act like AI has done the work. But that seems to be the only work that BARD has done so far for me. You won't be getting any good option as of now for predictive AI model or so. We have to think of things the right way.
I asked one question related to the web stories, and the BARD kind of made me think a lot. So I thought why not consider giving it longer prompt. Answers were typical robotic and not really tips like.
Let's test out the option of making some good headline for the blog or maybe even making sure to add some points which are harder to research. As that would be something we have to think that it is good that is generated. It's not worth checking it out or posting it out on the web. Because it would recognize it's own content.
At this point of time those who are skeptic would understand that using the prompt they are trying to understand humans. And they would be making use of the AI for the design of the of the future update of the AI which kind of shows that collecting the data is the aim here. For now the ChatGPT still rocks as that has proven to give much better variations of the content.
So what's my verdict? I feel it's same amateur AI as of now like the Bing's Chat has AI which makes use of the simple queries and not a lot of complicated queries there. So we can see there seems to be limited entries one can find. So in that approach we have to consider the Google BARD as a newbies in the game of the AI tools.
Let's see where it goes from here in 1 year.
