ChatGPT - How It can Change How we do Work

I heard all the hype of the ChatGPT. I was kind of not sure whether to waste my time chatting with bot to solve my problems. But then considering how other people are using it, made me get my hands on it.

So I had this idea in my mind. Why not use the AI to create products for me which I can sell as a digital product which can be sold on Etsy and Gumroad.

But to make things simple, I thought of writing a book of short stories. I thought if I let the ChatGPT get me to do the work, that would save me a lot of time.

So the first step was to sign up with the OpenAI's ChatGPT free account. And then after this I decided to try out the prompt. Before that there are lot of terms you would have to watch over.

Note that they do collect your data to the system. And they try to improve the Ai behind. which means less personal things you share the better. As AI may use it in some way back at us or someone else and that can be bad.

Now once you are all set you can go ahead and have a singular interface where you can see the prompts database. Where you can see the prompts and then you can add it up where they can give you conversation based on that.

So I thought why not come up with a short story prompt and how it can be used to create a book. Which I plan on selling later. I am sure many other writers would be doing this and saving the keystroke. And maybe they even use the audio idea prompt so that AI can listen and then convert into the book like story.

So here's my approach went ahead for the story.

And then the story came out from the AI bot. I am not going to post how it turned out as I want to avoid getting it listed on the Google. Because that would be countered to what I wish to do in the book project.

Imagine the use case here.

1. You can use the ChatGPT or any AI like this to do the work for your documentation. Excel sheets, office emails and other things. You don't have to hire the humans anymore. At the best humans can double check the content and it's validity to be used for the real world. As AI is still buggy as of now.
2. You would be seeing a lot of job loss for trivial stuff. Like people who are paid for writing they can be replaced and AI can be used to do most of the work. And it would be possible as we train more AI to be like a human.
3. It won't happen overnight but a lot of jobs really are in danger including HR. Because here you wont have to manage people. You would need developers and the people who can handle the AI. Most of the office spaces and it's rent would be reduced. So AI would be affecting all the business in some ways.

ChatGPT is a good invention. And it was meant to happen one way or the others. You would be getting the financial advice from bots soon. They would be doing your trading, your work and also watching over you in many ways. This was kind of imagined and dreamt of in the 90s and this is turning out to be true.

You may not like it but it is going to happen. And it is going to change the way we are making use of the computers. We won't be doing a lot of trivial things in the internet anymore. You would even not code anymore and it would be painful for many to stop coding and lose out to AI.

Let's hope that AI is going to be used in a way that helps solve some social, economical and emotional problems.
