Most of the Buildbox games are easy to do. They want you to approach this in a drop drag manner. You have to keep your brain out and just follow their mindset for the content and then that would be getting you into the design for the games as well. Like say you get the assets and just do it. They do the rest for you.
Most of the situations where such games can be built is you change the background and that is more than enough to get things going. I know a lot of people would want to try out something like this in because they want easy get into the games and the apps. But that does not happen most of the time as well.
First thing is you need assets. Few days back I managed to get the assets working. Like I got the 2D assets there. Another thing is that you have to get the logic there. Like we have to move from one place to another. You can either try out the horizontal or the vertical movement. I am doing both in two multiple different games.
If you happen to play around with the ChatGPT then you would also do this easily with the code. But a lot of times that is not what we are going to do and in that context we have to plan out variety of good things. Like you getting the points and the coins which would do the work too.
My learning so far has been that starting from scratch works. You have to just put the pieces across there. And once you choose to get the most of the work done next step would be using the apps like Buildbox to export your product which always works.
I recently also trying out the gamemaker for the other RPG styles game but all in due time. Let me finish few of the hypercasual games and I can then consider experimenting with variety of the games that I can build using the buildbox type apps.
