We all want everything to ourselves alone without stretching our hands to help others, especially the poor.

I couldn't agree more. Sometimes I feel like whenever I receive the things I pray for, it all ends there. But
I am reminded that we are blessed to be a blessing. The cycle doesn't have to end with us. We are, after all, our brother's keeper. That's the essence of all the "one another" in the Bible.
