We like to imagine the beautiful things that life has to offer. We like to imagine buying a mansion and having so many cars, that you don't know which one to go out with today. We like to think about all the good things in life. But we forget that attached to each of these things is a price tag.
If you want to buy a huge and beautiful mansion today, you can - so long as you can pay the price for it. It would be sold to you. My point is, everything in life that is good comes at a price. Especially the good ones come at a higher price. The question that we should all be asking ourselves is - what do I want exactly? And what price would I have to pay for it?
The supposed good life that everyone talks about comes at a very high price. Do you think that you'll have a more luxurious life than your equals and you wouldn't be putting in more work and intelligence than they do, and taking more risks than they can comprehend? As the saying goes - heavy is the head that wears the crown.
The fact is that most people have not for one second, sat them self down, and really ask themselves - what price must I pay for the good life that I want? When you've done that, and you've realized that perhaps the price you must pay is - working extra hard, having little or no time for playing around on trivialities - then you must choose to pay the price or not.
Some business people have understood the price that they have to pay; but it's just too much that they refuse to pay it. If you want to be successful in business, then you have to be willing to pay the required price to be outstanding. There's no half payment to this, or half measures. You have to pay the full price for the good life you desire.
