Time is a very delicate thing. You think you have enough of it, until you realize that you don't have enough of it. So long as we're all mortals, we're all on the chopping block. And time can never really be our friend; because second by second, we're aging. And before long we're old, and fade away. This is life.
When we realize that in the end every man will die. It's really not worth it, spending your mortality doing something that you completely hate. Sometimes, you have to take a risk. You have to take a gamble. Most people, don't want to admit it that life is somewhat a gamble.
But I'll argue that life will always be a gamble, because we don't know what the future holds. Taking risks, is a very serious thing in business. It's actually a double edged sword. It can make you, or it can horribly break you. It all comes down to what is the level of risk you're taking. And what are the odds of succeeding.
Because time is a very delicate phenomenon, it's paramount that you should take more risks when you're young; because there will be more time to cover up for your errors, when you're still young. A major problem we have in our societies is that young people are so scared of taking calculated risks.
But when we understand that we can never get 100% certainty of what the future holds - we have to take risks based on the odds and probabilities available to us. It takes courage to take risks. But you will always have to summon courage if you want to be a high level individual.
Do it when you're young, so that if it doesn't work out, you have time to find the second best option. But if you don't take the calculated risks that you should, you'll only regret it when you're old, and you'll always be left to wonder what would life have been like, if you had only summoned the courage to take the risks you needed to take.
