NEW SET UP HAS STARTED
Hello to you if you have just come across my post or posts and I hope you enjoy if you are a returning follower welcome back to you.
This latest post I share with you all is my new purchase of the the Samsung 49" ultra wide monitor that I got this weekend just gone I have it set up at the moment alongside my iMac 27" and my Huion 22" tablet running of the iMac along with the Aiyima impend the B&W speakers.
When I first got the monitor and set it up I connected it via the HDMI cable to firewire and the resolution was not correct after playing with the settings and a bit of research I found out that you can't run the correct resolution thru the HDMI port you need to use a display port cable So I have had to bodge it up for the time being until the new mac mini m2 16GB comes to hook it up to via the display port to usb.c . So at the moment I have a lead I found in my box of cables I keep from display port to firewire cable and connector so at the moment its not running the best it can but it has to do for the time being and I am sure once I order all the cables to go with the Mac Mini m2 it will all work fine.
I have also sold of the some equipment that I will not need in the new set up so that's all gone now the volume controller and the sound card as I will have the sound run out the back of the mac mini m2 in to the the Aiyia amp.
This Samsung monitor is a lot bigger than I thought on the desk and for the work I do it is ideal but for some it might be to big my desk is 2 meters long so have the space. I can't comment to much on the monitor as of yet until it is properly set up with the new mac mini m2 but at the moment what I can say is that im happy with it and the screen space is ideal for me if its for trading or having 3 web browsers open at the same time etc I can see this monitor working well for me once I get it unhooked from the iMac and hooked up to the mac mini m2.
