The efforts of the old lady to protect the child from the water dripping from the roof and the attentiveness of the kid towards the story being narrated by the lady are portrayed in this drawing by a kid using his imaginative prowess. It is great to see a child portraying human emotions so realistically. It's at the same time quite touching to see the fundamental emotions displayed through colours and the picture of poverty adds to the emotional appeal evoked by this drawing and the big thing is that this heartmoving aspect of reality comes from the hands of a small 9 year old kid who has shown extraordinary understanding of human emotions and sentiments.
