iOS eSteem App | Marketplace Page Loads with Empty Page, Corrupt Data & Inapplicable Links

It has been a much better experience with the new version of eSteem app for iOS for me. It looks a bit more stable than the previous one. I am sure in time to come @good-karma will keep releasing the updates to make this awesome app more reliable and robust. In my effort to contribute in its testing from iOS app perspective I will be sharing a bug that I found using the Marketplace of the app.

Expected behavior

Marketplace page of the eSteem app must always display the tools/plugins and other external apps of the Steem Block-chain such as Steem Monitor and Steem Fest.

Actual behavior

In eSteem Mobile iOS app, if you navigate away from Marketplace page and come back to Marketplace page again, it does not show the tools and plugins. However, it loads some dummy data comments posted some 2 years ago and also blank article/post page with Comments button, reply button, vote button and also a date-time of some 48 years ago.

How to reproduce

1. Open eSteem Mobile app v1.5.0 on iOS 11.2.2 on an iPhone 6 device.
2. Login to the application and enter the Pin code.
3. Tap on the main menu and select Marketplace. It will open the Marketplace page with External Apps, Plugins and Suggest options.
4. Tap on Steem Monitor app icon. It will move you from eSteem Mobile App and will open the iOS App store.
5. Press the home button to return to the main screen of the phone and re-open the eSteem Mobile App.
6. Enter the Pin Code to open, if required.
7. Check the Marketplace page is now shown as a blank outdated post/article page. Click on Comments button and you will see some dummy comments got loaded.
