iOS eSteem App | App Main Options Hangs / Stops Working, Scrolling of Feed Works

I am spending more and more time with eSteem App being on the move nowadays and came across below issue, again in continuation to the one reported for accessible context menu options without entering the Pin

What Happened As User Experience

As reported in the previous bug, I opened the context menu using the three dots "..." from upper right corner
I came out of the app by pressing the home button of the iPhone and hiding/minimizing it.
Now, I opened the eSteem app again, the context menu was visible above the Pin Code as mentioned in the other bug I reported
As I could not enter my Pin Code, I clicked on the option to Card View to hide the context menu.
Now, I was able to enter the pin code and was able to see my feed.
However, I could only scroll the feed but I was unable to open any story/article from the feed and nor I was able to click on Main Menu, Change Feed Option or click on three dots to open the context menu again.
I had to remove the app from running apps from iPhone and restart the app to get the control back.

All buttons and menus in the apps should always be in functioning mode and should not freeze.

Open eSteem app v1.4.7 on iPhone 6 with iOS 11.2.1.
Enter eSteem app security Pin Code to open your app. Make sure you have enabled the Pin Code under your eSteem -> Settings -> Security option.
Click on the three dots "..." on upper right hand corner of the app to open the context menu. It will open the Context Menu with four options.
Press the home button of your iPhone 6 to minimize/hide the eSteem app tocome to home screen of iPhone 6
Open the eSteem app again.
The Context menu is visible with all 4 options with Pin Code pad below. User can select any of the first three options to hide it and then you will be able to enter the Pin Code
Issue: Enter the Pin Code to get to your Feed and try to scroll the feed. You will be able to scroll the feed but you will not be able to perform any other action like opening main meny, changing Feed sort or opening the article or story from the Feed.
