I am back today with some photos that I have taken over the past few months in the streets around Seoul (primarily Dongdaemun in this set of pictures). Seoul is filled with both massive shopping malls and department stores, and many street vendors that fill the streets. These vendors can sell anything from food to cloths to cell phone accessories. While I have heard that recently the government is trying to prevent so many of these stalls from existing, I think that it would kill one of the best parts of Seoul. The street vendors and street life bring the life to Seoul! (not to mention street food is delicious and the prices are good!).
Waiting for food. I really love the look of the steam that comes from the cooking in these images!
Lastly, I have an image of what I would call a 'standard street' in Korea. Haphazard wires line the street and every building is filled with bustling businesses and restaurants.
