Hello everyone! hope you're having a great day and a good weekend!
So a while ago (as one of my first posts ever on Steemit!) I posted a series of pictures from a cat cafe in Myeongdong. However, while searching through my hard drive, I found many more images that I didn't include in that post. I wanted to make another post to share these pictures and my experiences with you all!
I have been to quite a few cat cafes in Seoul now... Some great, some pretty bad. My first few experiences were pretty underwhelming as the cats weren't very interested in people and the cafes were very popular... The cats had non stop attention and I can't imagine it could have been very easy for them. However, after going to a few cafes I eventually found an amazing place in Gangnam.. The cats there love people and they are willing to engage with you themselves. You can sit down and they will come to you! It's a great cat cafe and definitely my recommendation.
However, being in Gangnam, it's quite far away for me, so I tend to go to closer cafes. Recently I visited one in Myeongdong which I was pleasantly surprised with! Usually the busiest places are in Myeongdong and I wasn't expecting much.. But the cats here were actually friendly and interactive.
Here are some of the images I took the last time I went there!
I want to start with this image because I just can't get over how cute the cat is! He/She had a collar on so as to prevent people from touching them as they were sick at the time I was there.
This little girl had the attention of a whole horde of cats! I think she must have had some cat treats, but the cats definitely loved her and wanted whatever she had in her hand!
I believe this image was in my earlier post, but I wanted to include it again because it is honestly one of my favourite images I have ever taken. I love the eyes of this cat, and the curious look on its face.
Sleeping in the tunnel! And probably trying to hide from people... This cat spent my whole visit in the tunnel only coming out near the time I was about to leave.
The look on this cats face always entertains me... The stretched eye just gives it such an odd look!
Patting a rather content cat. I don't know what type of cat this is, but I had never seen them until coming to Korea.
And finally, a lazy day spent sleeping!
I hope everyone enjoyed reading my post, and if you have any questions, comments, or feedback, please feel free to ask! I would welcome any input :D
