Breaking News - US considering withrawding from UN Human Rights Council

Speaking at a council session in Geneva today United States UN ambassador Nikki Haley announced the US is considering withrawding from UN Human Rights Council.

This comes on the back of many high profile US and international figures pointing out that 5 UNHCR resolutions have been passed against Israel which is thought by some to be highly disproportional when compared with other countries with much worse records on human rights.

Haley referenced Venezuela as an example of a country with significant human rights issues under the rule of Nicolas Maduro.
