Laughing Samurai | Digital Art

Good day guys! I made this artwork earlier using my cellphone and the app called Ibis Paint X. I used myself as a reference as well as a sculpture of mine. You can see that in the timelapse I have.

Here's a quick timelapse of how I made this artwork, it's a good thing Ibis Paint X automatically records everything and lets you export it into a timelapse.

Here's a WIP snapshot of when I made the basic line art for him. I wasn't really supposed to finish this artwork but I felt a bit motivated so I did color it in the end.

Here are some other WIP photo of the Laughing Samurai. My favorite part here was coloring the head. The Laughing Samurai wears a mask.

PS: The background, Japanese character graphics, and patterns used are from Ibis' gallery feature where you can use different kinds of assets for your artwork.
