CamToPlan is an ARCore app. It lets you map out rooms to the lead your camera and AR technology. You involve along the baseboards of your room. The app maps it out. It later creates a 2D representation of the room. This is useful for planning, construction, and supplement uses. It boasts a 2% margin of error in ideal conditions. The app works best behind suitable lighting and a delightful contrast plus the floor and the wall. It's far away away from true.
Pros:
- only measures distances horizontally, not vertically
- Without removing any furniture you can measure
- It analyses the images of the video and relies on visual details
Cons:
- It has 2% measurement error
- For better use only measure on the ground horizontally
