why empty space in medical strip??

HI FRIENDS ,

have you ever wonder why the space is empty .Have you ever wondered the purpose of those empty spaces in a medicine tablet?

or you thought like i was thinking just better packaging!

Reasons :- 1) These packaging help to prevent breakage ,spilling during transportation

                  2) For medicine package containing one pill , empty gives more print area.

I know these post is not worth sharing in these platform , but still i believe there are still many like me , who are curious for answer .
