In medicine there are new methods to make it easier for people with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, to administer their medication. Usually they have to give themselve a shot every day. For this purpose, an injection device called Prime was developed by MIT in Cambridge. No needles are used, but the drug is administered through a nozzle at high speed of up to 200 m / s. In addition, each time it is used, it is documented how much the laser penetrates the skin so that it can adapt to the skin in follow-up applications. The patients feel almost nothing in the treatment.
