28th & 29th of June 2024 in Aachen at the border to The Netherlands and Belgium. We invite people from all countries as we will meet as usual in bi-lingual or even more languages.
Im Sommer treffen sich Aachener und Hivianer zu einem gemütlichen Beisammensein und Wissensaustausch.
Am 28. und 29. Juni 2024 in Aachen an der Grenze zu den Niederlanden und Belgien. Wir laden Menschen aus allen Ländern ein, da wir uns wie immer zweisprachig oder sogar mehrsprachig treffen werden.

We meet Friday afternoon and evening plus we will have a Saturday with breakfast/lunch & speeches, networking until late afternoon. More details soon.

Depending on the number of registrations, we will choose a suitable location. Therefore we need your OK very quickly to see if we are just a few or more than 15 or 20 people.

Might be a nice place with some room and lots to do. There is as well a video about this area but I guess we do this better - Or have a look here on that huge mountain with nearly 300m ;-)
With the brewery located at the highest point in Belgium, close to the ‘Signal de Botrange’ and the ‘Baraque Michel’, Belgium Peak Beer offers a range of local flavoured beers brewed with water from the unique environment and stunning scenery of the High Fens. There is a nice area for a few nice walks around the highest point of Belgium

This weekend we have as well the biggest event of Aachen at that week. The CHIO Aachen (Concours Hippique International Officiel) is a popular international horse show held in Aachen, Germany, each summer. Read more at https://www.chioaachen.de/de/

Make sure you get your bed early.
If you like to stay overnight, there is a modern and new Youthhostel Aachen or some Hotels via HRS and the Ibis Marschiertor direct at the railway station. We have the cheap A&O Aachen Hauptbahnhof where you get a room from 10€.
Wer gern im schönen Aachen übernachten möchte, der wird entweder in der modernen und neuen Jugendherberge Aachen oder den Hotels via HRS wobei das Ibis Marschiertor direkt am Bahnhof recht gut gelegen ist. Ganz günstig ist auch das A&O Aachen Hauptbahnhof wo es ab 10€ ein Bett gibt.
I just got the OK for cheap sleeps at the very modern and nice Youthhostel for just 48€ per night incl. Breakfast in 3 bedroom and 55 € per night incl. Breakfast in 2 bedroom
