I tried Henninger Lagerbier, a traditional German beer from Frankfurt am Main. The Henninger brewery was founded in 1869 and became one of Frankfurt’s most iconic breweries.

I found the lager to be a classic German-style pale lager - light, clear, with a balanced taste between mild malt and subtle hop bitterness.

The brewery was especially prominent in the latter half of the 20th century, and the Henninger Tower was a Frankfurt landmark until 2013. The brand still exists today, though it has gone through various ownership changes over the years.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
