In all seriousness, giving some small incentive is necessary to get them in the door.
Once we’ve done that, then we got to keep them here!
I see Steem's potential and am amazed that we don't have better marketing and onboarding strategies in place..
We've all heard of the latest initiatives like Steem onboarding... but I don't see much coming out of there..
I'd like to see something where we could see the weekly and monthly statistics and results of the onboarding efforts... I'd love to see that.
My friend came to me with this idea:
When the SPS comes out, he is going to make proposals to get funding for onboarding...
He's going to do something like Coinbase Earn but for Steem and Steem DApps... He's going to pay people in STEEM POWER and Upvotes for joining and engaging on the blockchain....
He's going to put out the results and have full transparency... How are these efforts actually working? Are they producing tangible results?
The SPS proposal will help him to fund the efforts and keep the marketing dream alive... Even if it doesn't get funded (although I have no idea why it wouldn't...) he will happily pay out of his own pocket to make this happen.
I see this as amazing and as the future of Steem!
