Dembele doesn't wish himself well.
Ousmane Dembele spent many years in hospitals and, finally, having settled down for an impressive time with coach Xavi Hernandez in Barcelona, the French "rebellion" against the Catalan team.
That is the story very briefly, without any attempts to beautify it or put it in context that makes Dembele a natural person negotiating his new contract with his team.
Any player has the right to procrastinate or reject the renewal process from the ground up, this is beyond doubt, but Osman has an unsupervised history with the Blaugrana that only became good when Xavi came and gave him the kiss of life.
Perhaps if Koeman had continued, Osman would have been involved and offered some modest levels, agreeing to a new contract with Barcelona worth far less than he is asking for now.
