Strange creatures are humans. They have been building for centuries, even when there were no tools and technology like today. It took a lot more time, knowledge, and strength to make a brick like this one or shape a stone than it takes now, with all machines and computers. I sincerely doubt that today's composite materials can last that long. In college, we often debated whether an architect is an artist or an engineer... should be both and more. It is human nature to build beautiful things that last a long time and fulfill their function, and where does the need for demolition come from then?
