This occasion I share with you a special portrait, one of the last I have done, it is of someone from the family. “Irma la Negra”. A niece of my mother who died when she was very young, I have blurred memories of her, in fact, the most vivid memory I have is a mental image of her feet because I was just a kid and she liked to put me on her lap. She was a woman very loved by the whole family and an incredible nurse.
