Hello dear friends Hivers!
This tiny animation is part of a fairly complex and difficult to carry out project that I have been doing for almost two years - I must clarify that I have not worked continuously during this time but rather in the moments that I can dedicate myself just to this animation.
It deals with self-representation, a self-portrait in animation where the central theme is "Loneliness" as freedom of conscience and the search for the inner Being. That is why I represent myself in most of the animated shots, well so far I have only shown very little in two previous publications.
I like the traditional frame-by-frame animation, and the one that is somewhat more handcrafted because it gives me the freedom to explore with the materials; for example, for this animated shot I used kraft paper, china ink, charcoal and chalk. My intention is to move my drawing style to a video format where lines and spots are not precise, generating movement and dynamism with the superposition of each image.
The size of the support - paper - is ¼ sheet paper, which is approximately 35x25 cm, to generate the animation in this scene I took 41 frames, basically I work at 12 frames per second.
