I usually cultivate the plants in the middle of the year to be able to harvest at the beginning of the following year, it is a small tradition that I have at home since I moved to live alone with my girlfriend in mid 2019.

The flowers are peeled, obtaining only the red part, that is, its petals, once we obtain all the petals, we must wash them well under running water, we must wash them as well as possible since the plant tends to attract many insects, especially ants.

Place a pot over medium heat, add the hibiscus petals and cook until the mixture starts to boil, once it comes to a boil, we can sweeten to taste and drink it with hot tea or however I like, letting it cool and taking it as a refreshing drink.
