Bath day for Lexter

Today came the most feared day for my puppy Lexter, the day of the bath, he had already had a good time without bathing and the truth was a bit stinky so after giving him his ration of food and playing with him for a while so that little by little Little did he gain confidence and when I noticed that he was already relaxed, I loaded him up, put him in the laundry room and began to bathe him, his first instinct was to try to run away but after a few minutes holding him he remained calm and allowed himself to be bathed without resisting, since he arrived At home he has been a very submissive dog so I was not surprised that he got wet, also, it was very hot so I guess he felt a bit cool which gave me the chance to soap him up, clean his paws and nails well and the ears with soap, after lathering it I applied shampoo so that its fur takes on a shiny color as well as smelling vanilla and I finished applying anti-flea and tick lotion, and to dry it I left it on the floor for a while so that it could shake and when I noticed that it had shaken enough I finished drying it with a hair dryer, at no time did it resist so when I finished everything I rewarded it by giving it a good amount of croquettes that it ate so fast that I think it didn't even chew them , once he was inside the house we put his collar on and left him alone to get used to his new smell, he was very calm for a few hours, I guess the whole process of bathing him exhausted him so we left him lying down and we continued doing the housework.

Hoy llegó el día mas temido para mi perrito Lexter, el día del baño, ya tenia un buen tiempo sin bañarse y la verdad estaba un poco apestoso por lo que después de darle su ración de comida y jugar un rato con él para que poco a poco agarrara confianza y cuando noté que ya estaba relajado, lo cargué, lo monté en el lavandero y comencé a bañarlo, su primer instinto fue intentar huir pero después de unos minutos sosteniéndolo se quedó tranquilo y se dejó bañar sin oponer resistencia, desde que llegó a la casa ha sido un perro muy sumiso así que no me sorprendió que se dejara mojar, además, hacia mucho calor así que supongo que se sintió algo fresco lo que me dio chance de echarle una buena enjabonaba, limpiarle bien las patas, las uñas y las orejas con jabón, después de enjabonarlo le apliqué shampoo para que su pelaje agarre un color brilloso además de que huela a vainilla y finalicé aplicándole loción anti pulgas y garrapatas, ya para secarlo lo dejé un rato en el suelo para que se sacudiera y cuando noté que ya se había sacudido lo suficiente lo terminé de secar con un secador de pelo, en ningún momento se resistió por lo que al terminar todo lo recompense dándole una buena cantidad de croquetas que se comió tan rápido que creo que ni siquiera las masticó, una vez estaba adentro de la casa le colocamos su collar y lo dejamos tranquilo para que se acostumbrara a su nuevo olor, estuvo muy tranquilo por unas horas, supongo que todo el proceso de bañarlo lo agotó así que lo dejamos acostado y continuamos haciendo los quehaceres de la casa.
