Green Crack is a pretty interesting strain to me. It was originally named Green Cush, but once Snoop Dogg tried it, he started to call it Green Crack because it was so good. A lot of people have adopted the new name, but there are still a lot of breeders and dispensaries that still refer to it as Green Cush due to the negative connotations that calling it crack would have.
When I was searching for different strains on the Seedsman, I wanted a sativa that was good for day time use and wasn't too overpowering with its sativa type effects. This strain has some very energizing effects that help to induce creativity and an overall sense of well-being.
Green Crack was created in the 1970s and is a combination of Skunk #1 and Afghani. The autoflower seeds I got have a grow cycle of 9-10 weeks and they claim that it will yield 500-650 gr/m2 under perfect conditions. I am not sure how much I can expect with the seed I have going now, but I know it won't be anywhere near 500 grams. I think that is mainly due to the fact that I have one light over this one and it is in a 2x2 tent.
They do say that the plant gets very thirsty during its flowering cycle and to make sure not to skimp on nutrients because it will eat them all up to produce some huge yields in the right conditions. I do have a new set of nutrients that I am going to be using, so hopefully it helps to increase how much I get from the plant.
The buds are supposed to be thick and have a strong citrus smell to them with some earthy undertones. It is also supposed to have a nice mango flavor to it when smoked.
Green Crack really isn't used much for medicinal purposes because it does not have a lot of the calming effects that most of the indicas have, but it can be used to help you get up and go. It has been described as a cup of coffee for the cannabis user. Some users have also reported some psychedelic effects like distorted visuals or loss of a sense of time.
Right now, my plant is just a little over two weeks old, so it has another 7-8 weeks left until harvest. I am really looking forward to testing this one out because I would really like to try out a daytime strain and not one that knocks me out after a few hours.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grow pictures and learning about Green Crack. Have you ever tried this strain? I am interested to find out how this one worked out for others, so if you have tried it, let me know. Thanks for stopping by, you are awesome.
