Went on a long walk today
It's been about a month since I got out of the hospital and started taking blood thinners. When I first got out of the hospital, I couldn't do much physical activity because I would get out of breath very quickly and tire easily.
I have been trying to do more and more each day to try and stay as active as possible, without going overboard and doing too much too quickly. I downloaded an app called Hops, which is basically a step counter type of app and it has goals and incentives each day for trying to get your steps in.
Today one of those goals was to get 10,000 steps in 24 hours. I haven't been able to get close to that since I got out of the hospital. My wife and I went on a walk today that lasted about 90 minutes. After the walk I had about 8700 steps. Not too bad. I will be able to get the rest of the steps in without a problem.
Flying the drone
I've been flying my drone a lot over the past couple days as well. I need to brush up on my skills before I head out to Spain and use it to help film my documentary. These shots are some from my neighborhood. We are finally having some decent weather and it is nice to be getting out in the sun.
Hopefully I can get out somewhere cooler to fly the drone and get some more pictures. I want to take it up in the canyon and go out on a hike to one of the lakes up in the mountains. That would be some pretty dope pictures.
Well, I think I am going to get the rest of my steps in and find out what we are going to eat for dinner. Thanks for stopping by and reading about my day and checking out my pictures. You are awesome.
