Today was a good day

What's up everyone? I hope that you all have been having an awesome 2020 so far. Our 2020 has been somewhat difficult so far with the recent emergency room visits for my wife. She has been to the ER twice and then to several other appointments to find out what has been going on, only to find out that none of the doctors have actually been reviewing any of the notes that any of them leave, so they are doing tests over and over for no reasons and they aren't relevant to what is actually going on. So now it seems like we may have a handle on what it actually is, and we may be maxed out of pocket for our insurance already, so that could end of being a good thing. Always look on the bright side...

Anyways, the picture above is from when my daughter and I were messing around with the panoramic feature on my phone. We had a good time playing around with it and trying to get make some fun ones of the dogs, but they don't know how to sit still during pictures, so they didn't turn out any good.

Rusty and Keiichi are getting bigger and goofier than ever. I scheduled appointments for them to get their balls chopped off so they don't try and make little baby kittens with any of the stuffed animals around the house.

차돌백이

My wife and I went out for lunch at a Korean BBQ today. It is one of my favorite places to eat here, other than the Japanese BBQ place that is pretty similar to this one. The meat that is cooking on the grill is my favorite, it is called 차돌백이, or for you English speakers, Chadol baegi. It is a thin shaved beef brisket. I like to dip it in a salt and pepper mixture and then they have a sweet soy sauce that I dip it in and it is delicious.

When I got there to the restaurant and ordered my food, the lady was bringing our waters and she spilled my water and it dumped all over my leg and shoe. The owners of the restaurant felt bad about this, so they hooked us up with free drinks and a really nice dessert afterwards.

The dessert was some sort of a pancake with ice cream on it. It was pretty good and it reminded us of the dessert that the street vendors made in Thailand. This dessert had nothing on the Thailand desserts.

That was such a delicious treat and we can't wait to go back and get it again.

My daughter had a basketball game today and I was glad to be off work so that I could go and watch it. I didn't bring my camera because I wanted to just watch the game and enjoy it, instead of being paparazzi the whole time. I did take a few cell phone pictures that I could send to my wife since she was at work.

Addie did so awesome at the game today. She is one of the toughest on the team when it comes to defense and she even scored a basket during one of her free throws after she was fouled.

This was her ripping the ball away from the other team and knocking the girl down. It was pretty cool. Her team ended up losing, but Addie did awesome.

Well, my fajita beef is almost done cooking, so I am going to get dinner for the family finished. Addie and I picked out stuff for banana splits for dessert to celebrate how awesome she did at her game.
