One of the biggest fears of a photographer is losing access to your images. Luckily I was able to get the cords I needed to back up my images from my Civil War trip to another hard drive.
I moved about 5200 images yesterday and it took about 3 hours for it to import into a new Lightroom catalog. None of the photos were edited, so I get to go through them and look at them with fresh eyes four years later and decide how I want them to look now. I have shared some of the photos from the trip in the past, but it will be cool to give my photos a new look. It is funny how my editing style has changed over the years.
I took these photos in Resaca, Georgia during the Battle of Resaca reenactment. The reenactment lasted a couple days and the role players dressed up in their uniforms and lived in tents. Each day they acted out the events of the battle for an audience. It is a pretty cool event to watch, but man it was so hot. I don't blame them for being tired and needing a drink after a long day out in the sun.
