@c0ff33a and I are dedicated to the Hive Blockchain and want to ensure that the chain is able to run as smooth as possible and be able to handle the increase in traffic and dApps that will be running on our blockchain.
We have been running a main witness server since Hive's inception and about a month or two ago, we shut down the witness server on Steem and have been running it as a backup to our main witness here on Hive.
Now we are excited to announce that we will be running a full node on top of our witness servers. We know that Hive has a very exciting future and will need many different nodes to create a seamless user experience and minimize downtime for users and dApps.
So here is a list of the specs and info for the server. If you are not a super nerd, this may not interest you.

Voting for witnesses is the way to reward those of us that are running servers to keep the blockchain running. @c0ff33a and I have chosen to use a portion of our witness rewards to give back to the community. We support different communities and projects throughout the Hive ecosystem, including BROsino and my Deranged Photography Contests.
All votes for our witness are much appreciated and allow us to keep the servers running and to reward the community. You can show your support for the @c0ff33a witness by voting on PeakD or through your Hive.Blog Wallet.
We are putting the final touches on setting it all up, replaying the blockchain and prepping for HF24, but once it is completed it will be fully operational and ready to handle API requests.
Thank you for all of your support as we continue to strive to support the Hive Community.
