Such weird bugs

Today while I was on my morning walk, I found a dragon fly in the grass. I normally would have just left it there and kept walking, but when I looked at it up close, I noticed that it was still in perfect shape. It isn't all the time that you find a delicate insect like this in such good condition, so I decided to pick it up and bring it home for a photoshoot.

I took a lot of pictures, and then once I was done editing them, I think I ended up with 29 of them that I liked. Instead of breaking the images up between several posts, I am just gonna post them all in this post. It was really cool being able to get pictures from a bunch of different angles and experiment with things.

I really liked how the leaves look like a stained glass window. Nature it pretty cool and macrophotography gives you an up close seat to see the beauty of nature.

The closeup shots of the head are pretty gross. I have never seen a dragon fly's mouth before. It is such a weird thing to see.
