My daughter brought Dusty home last night. He is now eating solid food and no longer needs his mother's milk, which is a good thing because she was not able to keep up with the needs for the two babies. My daughter has been caring for Dusty ever since he was born.
I brought Dusty outside to get some pictures and see how he likes it out there. Well, he is not really a fan of the outdoors just yet and did not like the cold wind that was blowing. But it looks like Franky and him are going to be best buddies.
Dusty was not really in the mood for exploring and I think he was getting cold in out there, so we made it a quick outdoor exploring session.
He is a Himalayan and looks a lot like the famous Grumpy Cat.
He wasn't a fan of being so far away from me and I don't think he liked the sunshine either.
I didn't spend too long with him outside because I could feel that he was getting cold and needed to come inside where it was warm.
Titus and Dusty are best buds right now. Titus lets him cuddle up with him and when they aren't cuddling, Titus stays right next to him to keep him safe. I think Dusty is going to fit in nicely here. Now I just need to convince my wife that we don't need to take in his sister Luna. Seven cats..... that is way too many. Hopefully they are able to find Luna a good home soon so we don't end up taking her in as well.
