Good Evening everyone. It has been quite a lovely day for me. I hope you all enjoyed yours too. I won't go and make the promise of a short post because words just seem to flow once I hit the keypads😆.
Today, I want to give a little background on where I come from in correlation with the Three Tune Tuesday. For those wondering what Three Tune Tuesday is, I quote @ablaze in his post:
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tags that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
Yep. That pretty much sums it up...
My All in All by Dr. Paul Enenche
I could only get the live version on YouTube
In this crucial time of my life when it seems I have no idea what way or path my life is taking, I can only wait to be honest. Just like the Psalmist said, ...I have committed my ways to the Lord...
That is all I can do right now and this is my heart's desire written as a song. Ever since I was a kid, the passion has always been there.
I am just two years in this church and I can say of a certain that this is where God wants me to be. Remember I said there was a background story?
My Mom was Catholic but when I was born I was snapped up into Christ Embassy by my Mom's younger sister. That is pretty much where I grew up all my life. My mom soon joined us and it was all good but something was always missing within me.
Mom moved again to a church called Trinity Bible Church (a.k.a Enthronement) and I was obligated to follow her. As usual, I was noticed by the Sunday school teachers for my brilliance and passion for Christ. That did not last long too because I felt something was still missing.
Soon, Mom moved again and this particular church really did not sit well with me. Everything was so different that I began to really question my faith. It also affected my mental health in a way and pushed me farther away from God. So I ran. I went back to my old Church, Christ Embassy but the damage had already been done.
I did not go to church for one full year after that because I was conflicted and my whole life in shambles. I kept trying to find my way back to God but it seemed so dark at that period in my life and I was so angry. Angry at everyone, at everything, at God! I wanted nothing to do with him. I felt he was to blame for my situation because all he did was watch. Yet, I still felt that fire burning within me daily, reaching out to him. He was always reaching out too.
Then Mom found this one online, Dunamis (greek for Power). I was so skeptical because they seemed to operate in the frame of the church that did me more harm than good. But one day, I was just tired of it all, I followed mom.
When the man came on the podium and started playing the Aerophone, the whole hairs on my body stood on end. The temperature seemed to drop. Then he began to sing this song and that fire I suppressed unleashed! It all came rushing like a dam. I don't know how I ended on my knees but I was. It was all too surreal when I heard the voice, stay.
Unbelievable? I know but it really happened to me. It is still happening. Since then, I knew I never wanted to go anywhere else. I'd found home! This man talks with a passion that sets you ablaze and he is not just the preacher preacher. He is a mentor. I got to learn how to handle finances well from this man and through the love in his house, God showed me that not all marriages are disasters.
Bunny on crack? Yep! When @dreemsteem explained how she gets her vibes by depending on Him, I knew she was serious because, have you met her? She is always doing one project or the other and still there for her two children and husband. No human energy can take all that pressure and still be so cheerful and bubbly. Not possible! On a particular day, she cooked four different dishes while she handled meetings and also the details for an upcoming challenge. Nope. Not bunny on crack...She's a bunny on Christ!

Ever doubt something or your ability? Just cast your cares on him and let him worry about it. You just do you and trust that He will fulfil his promise which he always does. Even if you cannot see it now, He is working it out...
