Good evening people. Hope your day is going well?
Now unto the Ecotrain QOTW:
"DO YOU BELIEVE IN DESTINY OR KARMA? CAN BOTH BE TRUE?"
My answer to this is that Karma and Destiny are definitely true.
We all have been hearing or have heard of the Law of Karma. I didn't believe in any such laws until I got to see it, experience it. You know that thing that they say about Karma being a b*tch? It's very true.
On that fateful day at school, I was at Junior High and possessed quite the complex attitude. It always puzzled my teachers and I have to say that when I look back at the marks I got from school, the scars, those people do not deserve to be called teachers. They broke rather than built and seemed to present my weaknesses against me all the time. They were also really arrogant and unteachable.
Moving on, I came to school and a boy named Johnson stepped on my sandals ripping it off from the minial repair I just did the day before. Anger blinded me and I knew that he didn't mean to but I insisted that he paid for it. Our Principal and only teacher I actually liked in that school, tried talking some sense into me asking me to let it go because– law of karma. I didn't care. I needed to let go of my anger somehow and made the boy take the sandals to a repair shop.
About forty-five minutes later, the same thing happened but in reverse. I stepped on someone's sandal and it was none other that the same boy who stepped on mine. I didn't even wait for him to speak. I remember saying, "just shut up and give it to me."
Since that day, I believed in the law of Karma. The table turns and what goes around must surely come around. People said it was just pure coincidence but I don't believe in that because I see it happening to people too.
Karma is like some sort of Divine Justice people would say but I don't think that's true. Divine Justice is Final and hard to miss, Karma just happens and most times, it happens to us privately. For example, the saying "Do unto others as you'd like them to do to you."
It's great that we just hit the topic on Spirituality because this has a lot to do with it. In the spiritual, there are laws that govern every action of man. If you wish good to someone, you get good back and if you wish bad, you get it back; especially when the person whom you wishing it has done no wrong against you. That is where Divine Justice comes in. It speaks for the innocent and humbles the guilty. My mom is a living, breathing testimony of Divine Justice.
Karma is just like a flash of what's to come. A warning. When you don't adhere you risk bringing Divine Justice upon you. Have you ever just unknowingly envied someone for having something and find yourself loosing something else? It's a call back to reality because envy is one of the seven deadly sins. However, most people don't understand this and go ahead to loose themselves in the pits of it. So Karma is like a call back to reality, a yellow card to remind you that the world revolves round one sun and that tables turn. Be patient to get your turn.
Destiny on the other hand is what I'd like to call "the end of the race." Destiny like karma is Spiritually controlled but by who? Or what? Most people ask if Destinies can be altered? The unfortunate answer is yes.
A destiny can be altered through diabolical or other means. In Nigeria or Africa as a whole, there are what we call Native Doctors or Babalawo. These are people who've decided to use the gift of Spirituality for negative purposes. Well not all of them but most of them.
Destiny is another gift of God to man. For a man to truly meet his Destiny, he has to find his purpose. Purpose is what drives and gives vision. Vision brings about planning and goal setting. Planning installs the character or habit of change and then breeds destiny.
I don't believe any man can truly realize the full potential of his destiny without God. What I've come to understand is that while we are living, we are not living for ourselves. We have been brought to Earth to impact lives if not change them. But how do we get to the root of this?
This is where Divine Direction comes in. Divine Direction is a necessity for success. It is the wisdom needed in any area of life to conquer. Any man who would realise the full potential of his destiny must accept that he's nothing in himself and everything in the Almighty.
Divine Direction like Divine Justice operate in the spirit realm and the spiritual controls the physical. Karma is a warning sign, telling you loudly that you are traveling the wrong path (I'd like to see Karma as a woman please). Destiny is your end game, being the person whom you are meant to be to touch the lives you're meant to touch.
I'd like to share something brief. A man died. He literally died because he made the mistake of drinking cold water immediately after a three days dry fast. Four hours later, when his body was being prepared for the morgue(neighbors had gathered and parents were weeping) he jerked back to life. He was dead cold but came back to life. His testimony; he was on his way to the afterlife, he had seen himself leave his body but on his way, our pastor, Dr. Paul Enenche appeared to him and asked him to go back. The funny thing is that, our pastor had been preaching in Bayelsa at the time (a crusade) but he appeared to him in the same attire he had been on. What the man said that caught my spirit, "what if Pastor Enenche had not accepted the call of God? What if he had not realised the full potential of his Destiny? What if..." And then burst out in tears. The answer is, he would have been dead. This man– our Pastor– had gotten two offers in the best hospitals after his medical school with atleast $5,000 monthly but he sought for Divine Direction to realize his Destiny.
