After all, by exporting the US dollar, the USA has the ability to spread its debt across the entire world. It will only become problematic for the USA if the dollar is displaced as the global currency. For decades in Germany, skilled trades were dismissed as "dirty work," and the prevailing view was that anyone wanting to earn good money should go to university instead. Now, Germany is left with many unemployed university-prep graduates and too few people willing to work with their hands. However, more young people are currently gravitating back toward careers in the skilled trades. 😉
