This is due to their special anatomy, slender and laterally compressed body, four limbs with well-developed toes and a long tail that is also used as a defense tool.

I'm guessing this also explains how an animal of that nature and weight is tree-climbing and aborial.

I've never seen an Iguana before. They're not easy to find around here, and I don't visit nature reserves that much to have seen them. Like you, they're not my favorite creatures either, but I think they're still a wonderful creation of nature.
