This robot arm is a wonderful DIY project where you can learn how to build and program trainable movements based on this model. They can turn and move the arm and the grippers in all possible directions, while Arduino stores the exact positions in the EEPROM. The analog feedback servos ensure that the complicated kinematics are efficiently executed by the robot arm. It's really amazing how perfectly the arm then automatically mimics these learned motion sequences as often as you want.
