Your ASDA experience vaguely reminds me of a recent trip to local Safeway where I was very excited to have seen in the weekly flyer that onions were on sale for just $0.68. Of course — silly me — didn't read the fine print. We've been buying onions by weight for as long as I can remember, and suddenly it was onions by the EACH, which actually was a sneaky way of passing along a price increase. A pox on you, Safeway!
