I can totally relate to wanting to hibernate. Thankfully, we always keep enough supplies on hand that not being able to go anywhere for a week doesn't leave us lacking anything. Since our climate here is mostly pretty mild, they really don't keep very much snow removal equipment here; I think our county has maybe 3-4 plows and a couple of trucks for spreading de-icer. Our neighborhood is about 5 miles outside of town, so we're super low priority.
