Sadly, I think much of life has become more of a popularity contest than something beautiful to simply live and experience.

Thus, every opinion is colored by the fear about "What will people THINK about me?" I see fully adult people (as in 30+) have psychological meltdowns because someone unfriended them on social media... over something of no significance to actual life.
