I always liked that house. It backs up on a small memorial park not far from where I grew up in Denmark... been there for probably 150 years. I think having a house in the woods is a worthy ambition, regardless of whether or not it ever comes to pass. I don't think having some ideal we carry around in our minds and hearts is a "failure."

It's probably an overly ambitious goal I set myself... but the underlying intent is to get back in the habit of writing on a more regular basis. And that is only going to happen if I have a plan that involves reaching some kind of specific goal...

I hope 2021 is a great year for us all... I feel like we need a bit of a reprieve...
