Yup.

The Internet has no value, only what you do on the Internet can have value.

The written word has no value, only the information someone might convey has value. Similarly, blogging has no value by itself, unless you're conveying something people actually ascribe value to.

Blockchain has no value, only what you DO with a blockchain has value.

For the most part, I see myself as a life-long opportunist. If I see something at the 2nd hand store for $1.50 and I think I can remarket it on eBay and sell it for $20, I seize the opportunity.
